It is easier to change habits in a calm & assertive way.

Best believe you only lose control due to two states:

Anxiety & Boredom.

Anxiety is hot and burns you out of your man cave.

Boredom is cold… a direct result of your inactivity.

Forbidding these states from controlling your actions is mandatory.

To max out self-control you want to stay snuggled between anxious and bored. The chart below reveals the most fluent flow channel which can stop anxiety or boredom controlling you, as your tolerance to both increases:

The goal is self-awareness as you meander through the middle like a drunk snake, rarely anxious or bored — yet always knowing when you are so you can adjust without life becoming a big deal.
’Tis simple:

If’n ya become bored, you can defuse it via taking more action.

If’n ya feel anxious, then you are at the top of what you currently fathom possible, and it’s okay to step off the gas for a bit until that scary ‘top’ no longer seems unrealistic nor unfathomable.
