Twitter VS Threads

If’n ya didn’t know:

Zuckerberg released a new app to compete with Twitter.

And, although this isn’t a big deal…

…people are making it a big deal:

It seems we humans STILL divide into tribes who seek battle over dumb crap. It ain’t like we are defending important stuff from real threats here… we are defending weird ideology from invisible threats:

• Musk vs Zuck
• Apple vs Android
• Twitter vs Threads

These are about as important as your favorite color.

But for some dumb reason, people still pick sides 🤷🏻‍♂️

Threads is an extreme example:

Musk & his Twitter minions are mad at Zuck & his Thread minions:

If you ask people loyal to Twitter, they will say Threads will be dead in a few years, going the way af Google+. If you ask people on Threads, they will say Threads is a Twitter killer.

As usual, both are wrong.

Threads got 100 million users in the first 5 days.

(that took Twitter 6 years)

This too shall pass.

None of it matters.

Watching marketplace feedback in real-time is just interesting to me.
